Big fire downtown last week, 150 foot flames! This is as seen from our window, 2 miles away:
A drugged up electrician torched 4 story wooden apartment under construction, for unknown reasons. They had 4 big ladder fire trucks, one at each corner, and managed to keep it from spreading:
It was so scary, some members of the house didn’t want to see it:
Here is a riddle for you: What do these 2 guys have in common?
Both are birds? Nope, I don’t think the 2nd one qualifies, pretty sure he is a baby dragon.
Both are happy? Nope, the 2nd one is ‘blue’ … and a bit dead.
Both are looking south? Nope, the 2nd one’s head is actually falling, we held it up then let go for the photo.
Both were subjects in this blog post? Guess that will have to do!
This ice monster grew a bit more after the last post:
But then the melting began:
The monster pleaded to the sky for more snow:
But none came. It was a daily battle, losing limbs during the day:
Then hardening up again at night in preparation for another battle the next day:
We watched, with care, avoiding being bonked by falling chunks of ice:
And witnessed the monster evolve into a long legged, big nosed, creature giving they sun the finger:
And then into a pterodactl (dinosaur bird), about to pounce on Salt Lake City:
And finally, into a big jawed, elderly white man who, for an afternoon, debated the meaning of life with a nearby bush.
Then the ice man left and the bush is still looking for answers. The puppy is doing his best to answer that:
But so far the all he has given the bush is poop and pee … and lots of running around, which makes the bush, and the rest of us, dizzy:
Guess I should warn you, seems all I have left this month is more puppy photos, so you puppy-photo-phobes probably should exit left.
Lots of winter fun:
The result of which is either a cold puppy:
Or a wet puppy:
But he had lots of help in warming up:
And as much as the cat would hate to admit it, given how annoyingly and constantly playful puppies can be, the cat has grown to like the little guy:
As does the polar bear, who now has a purpose in life.
Hmmm, maybe I should have the bear give the bush some consoling.
